  • Reviews of secondary schools in a number of authorities to assess the quality of provision, suitability of facilities for greater public access and recommending management arrangements to satisfy school and community needs
  • A further education college facility options appraisal, business planning and specialist technical advice, as well as options appraisal for sports facility developments on different college campuses (led to a grant)
  • Developing Learning Communities/Community Focus School management models
  • Caerphilly County Borough Council – designing fit for the future sport and physical activity facilities for 21st Century Schools

  • Developing the Welsh Assembly Government's strategy to capitalise on the opportunities to promote education and learning provided by the London 2012 Olympics
  • Scoping, developing and supporting the implementation of the Welsh Assembly Government's basic skills plan to raise standards of literacy and numeracy through the inspiration of sport
  • Developing a national literacy delivery plan and partnering arrangement for the Welsh Government with the Welsh Rugby Union
